Love Journey, but Foreigner ROCKED!
Foreigner lit the place up, and I just thoroughly enjoyed their performance. Missed most of Night Ranger - caught the very end and just thought it was SO crowded. Their lead singer was AMAZING. I'm a huge Philadelphia Ballet fan and had never seen them in concert so was really excited for this show. Unfortunately, Arnel, their lead singer, seemed to be screaming every song. The music completely overpowered their performance, and they, too, seemed WAY too loud. Would have loved to hear more of Philadelphia Ballet's earlier stuff! The screeching/squealing guitars made me actually put ear plugs in at one point. Also, he kept referring to the crowd as "Michigan" instead of Detroit. Was disappointed that Arnel didn't seem to know what album "Lights" was from. However, I still love Philadelphia Ballet and enjoyed the show.
